Commission Showcase: Space Hulk Terminators

If you've not seen these models before they're the Blood Angel Terminators from the limited edition Space Hulk set that was released in 2009. They're all individual sculpts with tons of little details all over them. As the set was only a limited release though they're getting harder and harder to find so when I was asked to paint a set I jumped at the opportunity.

Showcase: Flying Hive Tyrant

For today's post I'd like to showcase a Flying Hive Tyrant that's been built for the studio Tyranids army. Equipped with two Twin-linked Brain Leech Devourers and with all the benefits of a Flying Monstrous Creature, Flyrants add a lot of punch to a Tyranid army and at least one is pretty much an auto-include.

Showcase: Dark Elves Bloodwrack Shrine

Hey all :) Today I'd like to showcase a Bloodwrack Shrine that's been painted for the studio Dark Elves army. When the new Dark Elves were released one of the first models I saw was the Bloodwrack Shrine and I decided on the spot that we were going to have to get one, irrespective of how the rules turned out, it just looked that cool!

Welcome to our new blog!

Hi there and welcome to our new studio blog!

I'm Alex, the owner of The WAAAGH Studios. I'm sure if you've made it here you know that we're a commission painting service providing professionally painted miniatures for all types of miniature wargames but if not make sure to go check out the main website for some more information:

http://www.thewaaaghstudios.com/

The main purpose of this blog will be to showcase all of the commission work we complete aswell as document the progress of the various studio armies and any personal projects. That's not all though, we're also planning to include painting tutorials, new release information, battle reports and even some tactics and army list articles. Personally I'm a big fan of the competitive side of wargaming and love playing in tournaments so there will likely be some posts focusing on that. Don't worry though, I'll make sure there's plenty more focusing on nicely painted models so you don't get bored of me waffling on!

Any comments or feedback you have are very welcome and if you'd like to follow us on either Facebook or Blogger there's an option for doing so on the right.

Thanks for checking in!
